Red Bull

The fast-paced nature of Red Bull projects demands an exceptional level of attention to every detail, turning photographers into integral participants of the competition.

I have been shooting for Red Bull since 2007. In the 15 years I shot motocross, flying machines, cliff diving, parkour, skiing, go-carts, soccer and many other sports – and with each shoot I was pushing my limits – just like the performers I photographed.

The most memorable personal project I did with Red Bull in cooperation with Pentax was Fallen Ground – a project combining graffiti art with parkour. Have a look at it here.

Red Bull 111 Megawatt is an event that holds a special significance for me. I was part of it from before the beginning to the end – from capturing promotional photos of the event to actively participating as a member of the photo crew during each edition. It has also been one of the most demanding events I photographed – I would have dust in my teeth a week after the event.

Another memorable event is Red Bull Konkurs Lotów (in polish Flugtag). I was usually at the take-off deck – right where all the action was going on. Not once was I less then a step away from flying with the machines down to the water – with two cameras and five lenses on me.
